Tal como a pedra, somos naturais, únicos, guardamos histórias que talhamos em pedra, e continuamos em transformação!

É com orgulho que lançamos este espaço de partilha de conhecimento e valorização da Pedra Natural Portuguesa, um Espaço que é de todos e para todos!

Eu e a Helena somos a quarta geração da família na indústria da pedra e a segunda na SOLANCIS®!

Por esta equipa têm passado famílias e gerações de colaboradores e parceiros e é a eles que hoje dedico esta mensagem: Sem vocês, o vosso profissionalismo e amizade, não teriamos a coragem e a oportunidade de fazer acontecer, com todos os desafios que o tempo, a tecnologia, os clientes e a pedra nos trazem a cada nascer do Sol.

Aos clientes, a todos eles – o aplicador da pedra, o arquiteto, a empresa de construção, o engenheiro, o cliente doméstico – ao cliente das grandes obras e ao cliente das de menor dimensão, desejamos-vos um longo e próspero futuro. Que a SOLANCISweb seja para vós uma ferramenta útil e de apoio ao vosso trabalho. Continuaremos a caminhar juntos, a desenvolver soluções, e a levar pelo mundo fora a pedra portuguesa e a marca da equipa SOLANCIS.

Quando andava na escola vinha para a SOLANCIS nos tempos livres – olhava, tentava perceber o que se fazia, procurava aprender.

O escritório era uma casinha bem pequenina e em redor existia um pomar que pintava a envolvente branca da fábrica.

Em ‘85, cheguei perto da minha tia Lurdes, na altura uma das sócias, e perguntei-lhe se me dava trabalho! Queria fazer parte da história desta empresa, ser uma mulher independente e abracei este projeto com garra e vontade de crescer!

Acredito que devemos olhar o futuro com ambição, sem medo do trabalho e com simplicidade. Tenho por lema que o empenho que colocamos em tudo o que fazemos trará retorno – seja na amizade, na vida familiar ou no trabalho! Da mesma forma, o balanço entre todas as partes é fundamental.

Somos mais do que pedra – somos pessoas que oferecem soluções a pessoas, cujo produto terá usufruto por pessoas. Somos equipa – uma equipa que nos deixa orgulhosos do percurso que tem vindo a ser feito e à qual agradeço o empenho e Dedicação de todos os dias – alguns deles de uma vida inteira!

À minha família, obrigado por me encherem o coração e a alma! Sou feliz.

Welcome to SOLANCISweb, which marks the 54th anniversary of the company I joined at the age of 17 and which is my life.

Like stone, we are natural, unique, we keep stories that we carve in stone, and we keep changing!

We are proud to launch this space for sharing knowledge and valuing Portuguese natural stone, a space that belongs to everyone and for everyone!

Helena and I are the fourth generation of the family in the stone industry and the second at SOLANCIS®!

Families and generations of employees and partners have passed through this team and it is to them that I dedicate this message today: Without you, your professionalism and friendship, we would not have had the courage and opportunity to make it happen, with all the challenges that time, technology, customers and stone bring us every sunrise.

To all of our customers – the stone installer, the architect, the construction company, the engineer, the domestic customer – to the customer of large construction projects and to the customer of smaller ones, we wish you a long and prosperous future. May SOLANCISweb be a useful tool for you and support your work. We will continue to work together, to develop solutions and to take Portuguese stone and the SOLANCIS team’s brand around the world.

I would like to say a special thank you to all the people who are part of my life! Thank you.

54 years carry a lot of stones and in this corner of the world, many stories and moments will continue to be written, but above all lived and shared by your side.

When I was at school, I would come to SOLANCIS in my free time – I would look around, try to understand what was being done, try to learn.

The office was a very small house and around it there was an orchard that dotted the factory’s white surroundings.

In ’85, I approached my aunt Lurdes, one of the partners at the time, and asked her if she would give me a job! I wanted to be part of the history of this company, to be an independent woman and I embraced this project with determination and the will to grow!

I believe that we should look to the future with ambition, without fear of work and with simplicity. My motto is that the commitment we put into everything we do will pay off – whether in friendship, family life or work! In the same way, the balance between all parties is fundamental.

We are more than stone – we are people who offer solutions to people, whose product will be enjoyed by people. We are a team – a team that makes us proud of the journey that has been made and to which we thank the commitment and dedication of every day – some of them a lifetime!

To my family, thank you for filling my heart and soul! I’m happy.
